The Dinosaurs That Once Ruled Malaysia
Sauropod Fossil
Found in Terengganu, this long-necked giant is believed to have once roamed the Malaysian coast millions of years ago. The Sauropod, known for its towering height and plant-eating diet, represents one of the most remarkable discoveries in Malaysia’s paleontological history. Its immense bones reveal not only the creature’s strength but also the biodiversity that once flourished across ancient tropical landscapes. Today, this magnificent fossil takes center stage in our exhibit — a proud reminder of Malaysia’s prehistoric heritage and its connection to a much larger global story of evolution.
Iguanodon-like Footprints
Discovered within sediment layers along Malaysia’s East Coast, these preserved footprints tell a fascinating story of early herbivorous dinosaurs that once roamed our region. Each print captures a moment in time — a creature’s cautious step across soft earth that has now hardened into history. The Iguanodon-like tracks serve as living proof that Malaysia was once home to vibrant prehistoric ecosystems. As part of the Earth Guardian storyline, these footprints help bridge imagination with science, showing how ancient discoveries can inspire a deeper understanding of our planet’s geological and biological past.
Tyrannosaurus Rex & Velociraptors
Enter the predator zone, where the most fearsome hunters of the prehistoric world come alive through state-of-the-art animatronics and immersive soundscapes. The Tyrannosaurus Rex, with its earth-shaking roar and powerful stance, embodies the apex of evolution — while the Velociraptors, smaller but highly intelligent, demonstrate the cunning and speed of pack hunters. Together, they create an adrenaline-pumping experience that transports visitors to a time when survival depended on instinct and power. This dynamic display combines science, engineering, and artistry to deliver a thrilling encounter with nature’s most legendary predators.
